Ulee Bellou (1990), is a self-taught digital illustrator & photographer based in Thessaloniki. She has studied pre-school Education, Photography and has finished her master studies in Creative Writing in Education and Literature.

Focusing the last year in digital illustration, and paying attention to colour pallets, her aim is to depict daily life objects and subjects where the cactuses and plants are protagonists and they are ruling the essence of the image.
Her inspiration and influences originate from vintage, green punk, funky and retro aesthetic.

Why cactuses and succulents? Cactuses are bizarre in appearance, like they have landed on earth from another planet, and they are also self-sufficient, self-less, Zen and loveable. In a few words, we could learn a lot from them if we pay attention to their characteristics and if we embody these qualities in our life.

Ulee wants to be inspired and create even more designs within her “cacttone world” in the future, in order to reach people to get inspired from her work, too.
