Sunnu Rebecca Choi is a Korean/Canadian Illustrator currently based in London, studying Illustration at Kingston University. She graduated from Parsons the New School for Design in New York and received a BFA degree in fashion design. She worked as a fashion designer in New York and Toronto for about 8 years before changing her career path and working as an illustration. She does editorial, book cover, picture book and packaging/branding illustrations, and also does fine art paintings. Her works have been exhibited in Canada, South Korea and in the United Kingdom.

 
 
 

Her goal is to create works that inspire people to connect with their inner selves and find joy within themselves. Creating something for a better future is her main goal as a creative practitioner. Her work is often inspired by thoughts and emotions from various moments that people encounter in life, from covering small daily events to more significant moments. It’s her way of looking back on the past, appreciating the present and thinking of a better future. 

 
 
 
 
 

Her creating process involves a combination of analogue and digital. She loves exploring different types of analogue mediums, also passionate about learning more about printmaking. Her goal is to keep practicing and learning about traditional ways of creating art and harmoniously combining them with digital technologies.
