SAMUEL BELAISCH
“CODE&CRAFT”
2025
Samuel Belaisch reads nature's blueprints, translates their wisdom into code, and orchestrates robots to generate organic architectures beyond industry reach.
Entering architecture school to create traditional architecture while rejecting contemporary design, he eventually found himself "consoled in the arms of the future" when he realized synergies between vernacular and innovation would lead architecture in a new era. His journey from anthropology to computational design at Le Mans Fine Arts then IAAC Barcelona forged this method.
The objective? Breaking free from delocalized soulless production through distributed fabrication, empowered by Nature's approach. He conducts automated processes and hybrid materials toward biomorphic structures.
Entrepreneur as much as artist, he founded Cyber Club to help craftsmen transition to augmented fabrication. Currently developing “Re-Life” environmental regeneration project and launching “ArchN’Tech” construction company. Operating between cities, nature and cyberspace.
This earned him first prize School of Collective Building Vienna (2025) with his 3D-printed hive column. Exhibitions at Hemera Hub Barcelona (2024) with live design and printing show.
“Layer after layer, print after print,
Code flows, machinery refines,
Physical entropy grows,
Digital crystallizes.”
