RO STUDIO was born through a creative union between Terēze Aploka and Roberts Jaunzems-Pētersons. A couple walking hand-in-hand through both life and business. The story began with Robert’s love of creating jewelry for Terēze, who in turn saw potential to develop this rapidly growing jewelry brand.
Despite the fact that both of them are RO STUDIO designers, each has his own specialization and importance in this powerful artistic union. Jewelry is made through Robert's hands, while Terēze stands for the artistic and visual direction of the brand.
Since the evolution of this artistic tandem, RO STUDIO has been nominated for the 'best latvian contemporary jewelry designer' title and represented Latvia’s name in the international ‘EXPO 2020’ exposition in Dubai.
In a world full of colour and diversity, RO STUDIO creates jewellery that's dedicated to minimalism. Designed to last beyond seasons, our art is all about clean aesthetic, monochromatic palettes, exquisite lines and iconic shape. We have an endless desire to create big, sometimes oversized silhouettes, marked by solely black onyx and bold geometrical shape.
To expand the boundaries and make contrasts that we love so much, we let our all-black, monumental designs play with the deep white cacholong opal or more artistic look.
Practising years of honed craftsmanship in silversmith, using traditional stone-cutting techniques and recycling used material, we provide every step of our jewellery creation. Our work is so pedantic and scrupulous, it's easy to believe that these pieces of jewellery were not created by a hand of a human.
RO STUDIO jewellery is all about keeping the form simple and uncluttered by emphasising the symbiosis of the environment and the individual itself.
