Pamela Bórquez style shapes the strength and the reflection of nature in the feminine character, with organic, bold, one-of-a-kind designs.

She learned jewelry techniques in her homeland Chile, Color Rendering in Hong Kong at the Hatton Jewelry Institute, high-end techniques at an intensive program, with the master jeweler Miguel Monzon, from Florida, USA and stonesetting at the Gerardi Setting School and Goldsmith at the Accademia delle Arti Orafe and in Rome. She is also Civil Industrial Engineer and MBA from the University of Chile

Pamela is an active member and part of the board between 2022 and 2025 of the Trade Association of Artisan Creators of the Bio Bío and the Heritage Crafts Corporation of the Bio bío region.

During the pandemic, and along with master Jeweler Miguel Monzon, she did online classes to more than eight hundred students from over 20 countries, teaching soldering techniques, stone setting, double gallery rings, grain setting, wax carving, jewelry ornamentation and business strategies for jewelers.

Her work has been exhibited in Chile, in West Palm Beach, USA, in Ecuador, also at the Milano Jewelry Week 2022, 2023 and 2025, and at the Tokyo International Art Fair 2024.

Tónica Joyas is a jewellery studio based in Concepción, Chile, in the north of Patagonia. From such a remote location, techniques learned by Pamela in the USA, Hong Kong, and Italy converge with traditional shapes of the local landscape, craftsmanship and its heritage.
