“I transformed the invisible elements within the human psyche into physical entities through the materiality of metal. My recent practice focuses on words that, unable to be released, clot like dense masses inside the mind. These expanded forms are forged through the traditional metalsmithing technique of hammering, shaped by countless meticulous strikes. This repetitive hammering is a physical ritual—a bodily recollection of the 'accumulated time of language' that has long settled deep within, never having been spoken. The magnitude and direction of the force channeled through the head of the hammer are indelibly recorded onto the metal surface, translating intimate psychological energy into visual tension.”
