Cho Nam Tsang (Athena), known as @MS_CHOOO, is a concept-driven contemporary jeweller and wearable artist whose practice explores narrative storytelling and material transformation. Central to her ethos is the recontextualisation of discarded urban waste into artistic adornment. She creates avant-garde sculptural pieces using upcycled materials, meticulously transforming discarded aluminium drink cans into intricate, handwoven forms and loops. This process offers a tactile critique of urban waste and consumer culture, turning overlooked objects into compelling visual statements. Through precise hand-weaving and fluid structural complexity, she elevates low-value materials into wearable sculptures that bridge the gap between everyday materials and fine art. With an international exhibition footprint in Slovenia and Romania, Tsang continues to explore the dialogue between precious and ordinary materials as an independent artist.
