Hyein Lee is an artist that creates works about environment and veganism.
Also she wants to show the powerfulness and positivity of various shapes of body in her works, and she is trying to create art that makes people confident.
Her works are mainly created of collage style. She uses oil pastels, coloured paper, and coloured pencils in my work. She loves to try out many styles and the mix of the materials. She is interested to see how it express the emotion itself.

Her reason of making art is to evoke people about destruction of the environment and make people realize that we should treat animals with dignity and that animals also have their rights to live a better life. She is interested in veganism and willing to make picturebooks about environment and animal rights and her works pursue much about them.

She is also interested in feminism and think that women’s body should not be over sexualized and to be respected in their own, raw shape.

She wanted people to realize that every bodies are beautiful and that we should not make an ideal shape of the body that oppresses women to have that. She tries to depict women’s body with their own natural lines and to express its powerful and independent shapes embedded.
