Georgia Ezell is an illustrator, graphic designer, and full-time college student at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She is pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree with Individual Concentration in Graphic Design and Visual Marketing, a degree in Anthropology, and a minor in studio art.

Georgia started drawing several years ago when she discovered the power of art as a way to grapple with and heal from mental health challenges. Today, Georgia transforms her lived emotional experiences and daily observations into bright, playful, often psychedelic scenes. Her work has been featured internationally in magazines and newspapers, and she has started her own business doing freelance design and illustration work.

Georgia Ezell’s illustrations are eclectic, ranging from colorful, fruit-filled pieces to monochromatic scenes with underlying references to mortality. “Juice”, her largest project to date, is inspired by the Jonestown massacre and Georgia’s own experiences with mental illness. “Juice” consists of several pieces featuring familiar, cartoon-like juice boxes and juice cartons with underlying references to death and self-harm. Much of Georgia’s art gravitates around these themes, but her work also includes a number of lively, cartoon-like illustrations inspired by beautiful still-life scenes and everyday moments.
