My current practice involves creating jewellery that explores using embroidery as both a secure joining and decorative tool, with no internal connections. I like to harmoniously join various materials of differing weights, forms, origins and colours  through stitching to create wearable objects that explore surface, colour and tactile qualities. My pieces are informed by preliminary textile collages, which hold the same value for me as the completed outcome, and allow me to explore materiality, stitch and scale in a different way.
