Inspired by grikes in the limestone pavement, this brooch is a beautiful encapsulation of this karst landscape in Ireland.

Irish linen is woven throughout, along with raw and naturally dyed Galway wool. These sections of texture and colour indicate the naturally occurring lichen which grows on the limestone rock, found in the Burren.
