This piece is a shrine made up of small earthenware bowls of abundance and life which are perforated because the girl that inspires it is dead. It is a tribute to “The Maid”- mummy of the “Llullainllaco children” trilogy, now in the Museum of ‘Alta Montaña’, Salta, Argentina “, which centuries ago gave his young life to a divine purpose in the nearest place to the Sun, and today passes on the ancient wisdom of the people that lived in the Andes. According to Inca beliefs, the children offered reunited with their ancestors, who used to watch the villages from the summits of high mountains.
