This handmade porcelain vessel was inspired by oil painting.  The base was made using a hand-built pottery technique with coils. Then the surface was decorated with various colours, pottery stains, which were mixed with porcelain (the consistency was changed to achieve oil paint look). As you can see from the images the surface is uneven and resembles thick strokes of an oil paint.
