Founded in 1996 as the Association of British Designer Silversmiths, Contemporary British Silversmiths represents a network of makers committed to excellence in contemporary design and craftsmanship.
Run by an elected committee and funded by membership fees, the organization supports established makers, graduates, students, and enthusiasts. Through UK and international exhibitions—including stops in Germany, Taipei, and Finland—it offers members a platform to showcase work and explore fresh ideas. Ultimately, it remains dedicated to advancing this historic craft in a modern context.

Ruup & Form is a contemporary art gallery in London, championing material-led practices that expand the spaces between art, craft and design. Founded in 2019 by curator Varuna Kollanethu, the gallery works with emerging and established artists whose practices are shaped by material intelligence, experimentation and distinctive ways of seeing the world.
