CAMILLA CAVALLI
Cluster Exhibitor | Cluster Illustration | Alternative Fair 2021
Camilla is a 21-year-old partially self-taught artist that lives in Ticino, Switzerland.
She always loved to draw and she started doing so digitally in 2017, on an IPad pro, using Procreate and eventually Adobe Illustrator.
Over the years, she developed her own art style, which is composed of bold shapes and bright colors, usually portraying feminine presenting subjects and powerful messages.
Camilla shares most of her content on Instagram at @lilar.t, and thus she was discovered by a young woman from the UK, that was working on releasing a magazine and wanted to incorporate one of her illustrations on it. The magazine is called “Kerosene”
and it’s curated by Alana Mann. Her second and biggest accomplishment is being found by the Cluster team.
She is currently attending an art school and she is working on creating some art
in traditional as well as digital.
Camilla Cavalli utilizes her works to express powerful messages, that are matched with the bold traits and colors of her illustrations.
She pays homage to femininity by drawing almost solely female-presenting subjects, because she’s drawn to women and their beautiful bodies.
Camilla recently started a linocut printing series, which she’s using to make tote bags and shirts and she is working on opening her own shop.
As of now, creating art is a hobby to her, but she wants to be able to transform it into her main job at some point.
