Berry Ho AKA @artifexberry is a UK- and Tokyo-based visual artist currently studying at Central Saint Martins, UAL. With a strong focus on AI-generated art, her work explores surrealism, cultural narratives, identity, and the human psyche. She examines how cultural symbols and traditions can be reinterpreted in the digital age, questioning the evolution of identity within the intersections of technology and heritage.

A passionate storyteller, she was awarded a prize in the Storytelling category at the AI Design Awards, recognising her ability to craft compelling narratives through AI. Her artistic practice integrates folklore, mythology, and digital aesthetics, reshaping them into a surreal dialogue on memory and human connection.

Through colour theory and AI-assisted image-making, she creates hyper-realistic yet dreamlike compositions that challenge perception, merging technology, storytelling, and artistic innovation. By utilising AI as a creative partner, she pushes the boundaries of cultural exploration and narrative-driven art, redefining contemporary surrealism.

As a storyteller, surrealism is not just an aesthetic choice; it is a narrative method that allows me to explore the boundaries of reality. My practice delves into the symbolic nature of colour and form, constructing dreamlike scenarios where nature, technology, and human emotion intertwine.

This series of artworks represents hope, pure love, and the power of imagination. Through AI-generated surrealism, I express my passion for storytelling, using AI as a tool to craft intricate narratives and explore the deeper meanings behind each piece of art. I seek to reimagine cultural identities and challenge traditional perspectives on storytelling, merging technology with human emotion in ways that transcend conventional artistic methods.

By embracing both the limitations and possibilities of machine-generated art, I continue to develop a unique visual language—one that merges technology, storytelling, and cultural discourse into a striking and immersive artistic experience.
