Ashley Marshall is the founder and designer of Azuni London, a jewellery brand established in 1995 that fuses ancient craftsmanship with modern design. Beginning his career as a professional chef at London’s prestigious restaurants including The Dorchester, The Ivy, and Le Caprice, Ashley developed a creative intuition for combining unexpected elements — a skill he later translated into jewellery making.

His inspiration grew during travels through South America, where he immersed himself in indigenous cultures and studied their traditional art forms. This ethnographic exploration led to Azuni’s first beaded collections and shaped the brand’s philosophy of blending global heritage with contemporary style.

After completing formal studies at the Sir John Cass Faculty of Art, Architecture and Design, Ashley established Azuni’s distinctive aesthetic, described as “Between Two Worlds.” His designs have been worn by the Princess of Walesand featured in Vogue, Elle, and Tatler, earning Azuni international recognition for its handcrafted, meaningful creations that celebrate cultural connection and timeless elegance.

Azuni London was founded in 1995 by Ashley Marshall, whose creative journey began as a professional chef in renowned London restaurants such as The Dorchester, The Ivy and Le Caprice. His flair for blending flavours evolved into an artistic vision for combining textures, materials, and cultures in jewellery design.

Inspired by his extensive travels in South America, Ashley immersed himself in indigenous communities, studying their ancient crafts and philosophies. These experiences sparked Azuni’s first beaded collections and shaped the brand’s unique identity — jewellery that bridges ancient artistry with modern sensibility.

After studying at the Sir John Cass Faculty of Art, Architecture and Design, Ashley refined this fusion of tribal artistry and contemporary style, defining Azuni’s signature aesthetic, “Between Two Worlds.”

Today, Azuni’s handcrafted pieces, worn by the Princess of Wales and featured in Vogue, Elle, and Tatler, continue to celebrate craftsmanship and cultural connection. Each collection carries a narrative that blends global inspiration with timeless design — enchanting and meaningful for every wearer.
