ATELIER MUNAÉ

“FORMS OF REVERENCE”
2026

A graduate of the Lyon School of Fine Arts, Sarah Gracia has long cultivated a deep passion for art, design, and artisanal craftsmanship. Her artistic training has enabled her to develop a sensitive approach to material, form, and function, placing experimentation and research at the core of her creative practice.

She began her career in the world of fashion, a rich and demanding field of expression, where she explored textile enhancement techniques. Embroidery, weaving, and textile print design became key areas of investigation, shaping her perception of materials and the gestures that transform them. This immersion in textile craftsmanship refined her understanding of artisanal processes and their narrative and aesthetic potential.

Her path naturally led her toward furniture design, a discipline in which she found a broader space for expression, combining volumes, materials, and function. At the intersection of art and design, her work is distinguished by a strong attention to detail, textures, and the dialogue between traditional techniques and contemporary forms.

Driven by a desire to create bridges between different crafts, she believes that the hybridization of skills and techniques is an essential source of richness and innovation in design. Each project thus becomes a space for exchange and collaboration, where techniques meet, evolve, and give rise to singular pieces imbued with meaning and emotion.

"Atelier Munaé celebrates the hand that creates, the eye that shapes, and the mind that imagines. Each piece emerges from a dialogue between tradition and modernity, mastery and spontaneity, reflecting a vision in which art and function merge into a timeless harmony.

Munaé crafts a singular universe where every object tells a story, and each creation becomes an invitation to feel rather than to own. Materials are approached with sensitivity and intention, allowing form, texture, and gesture to resonate beyond mere utility.

The story of Munaé is rooted in a deep conviction: that the blending of materials, the hybridization of disciplines, and the power of collective creation can redefine the way we perceive design objects. Through collaboration and experimentation, the atelier explores new narratives, where craftsmanship becomes a living language and design a space for emotion, meaning, and connection."
