“My photos in the exhibition belong to an ongoing project, entitled The Vanishing Point, investigating the concept of metamorphosis and otherness. Matter transforms, our feeling changes, senses evolve with experience.
From our first waking, as night follows day, we mutate into something different until our flesh and blood will become ashes and oblivion.”
“Burning alludes to the dark matter of the unconscious involved in any process of transformation or metamorphosis. The photo belongs to the ongoing project The Vanishing Point.”
“The research path, in this first phase, explores the relationship between nature and the feminine. And it does so through collages, overlays, blurs and pictorial contaminations that evoke the instability of forms and the ambiguity of the gaze, creating contrasts, associations and references to something that lies beyond the visible, in the deep waters of the unconscious.”
“Woods refers to the idea of bewilderment as a prelude to change. The photo belongs to the ongoing project The Vanishing Point.”
“Leaving investigates the moment when matter is transformed by changing shape and texture. The photo belongs to the ongoing project The Vanishing Point.”
