Anna Börcsök is a Budapest-based contemporary jewelry artist, educator and curator. She has been working with jewelry since 2008 and holds a DLA from Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design, where her research focused on narrative approaches in contemporary jewelry. Her practice explores jewelry as a medium of communication, investigating how memory, identity, personal and collective stories can be embodied in wearable objects. Her work has been exhibited internationally in Europe and beyond, including Italy, Germany, France, Spain, Portugal, Austria, the UK and Mexico. She is an Associate Professor at Budapest Metropolitan University, where she teaches jewelry and accessory design. Alongside her artistic and educational practice, she curates exhibitions and contributes to the development of the contemporary jewelry field.

"My work explores contemporary jewelry as a narrative and experiential medium, where material, form, movement and the body become active elements in the creation of meaning. I work primarily with stainless steel, combining precise, reduced structures with natural stones, pearls and other contrasting materials. Rather than fixed symbols, my pieces function as open signs, inviting personal interpretation and interaction. Movement, chance and transformation play an essential role, allowing jewelry to change through wearing and bodily presence. I am interested in the tension between control and unpredictability, industrial precision and organic imperfection, permanence and fragility. My jewelry is not merely an object to be worn, but a personal, evolving form of communication."
