Aneta Olszewska (b. 1974, Poland) is a jewellery artist, and a graduate of the Władysław Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź, where she completed postgraduate studies in Jewellery Design and an MA in Jewellery. Her practice explores the relationship between the body, nature, and materiality through wearable objects created from natural textiles, wax, and organic materials.

She is the recipient of the Cluster London Award and the Honorary Award of the Director of the Gallery of Art in Legnica at the 34th International Jewellery Competition Every Body. Her work has been presented in group exhibitions including Beyond the Frames (2021), Prime Time 2023, and Jewellery – Exhibition of the Institute of Jewellery, Władysław Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź (Włocławek, 2025).

My artistic practice explores the relationship between nature and culture through jewellery, reflecting on the human body, memory, and transformation. Inspired by deconstructivism and the philosophy of wabi-sabi, I work with natural materials that embrace imperfection and preserve their own history.

The body is at the centre of my practice. I see jewellery as a second skin that responds to its wearer. By combining natural textiles with wax that softens through body heat, each piece records traces of movement and presence.

Existing between jewellery, sculpture, and biological artefact, my work invites reflection on corporeality, mortality, and the fragile beauty of living forms.
