DESERT UTOPIA
THE PAST’S FUTURE
RETRO RIOT
“My work explores the transformation of memory, perception, and authorship through AI. Rooted in analogue photography and enriched by my background in visual arts, I merge human intuition with machine-generated aesthetics to push the boundaries of storytelling. AI does not replace my photography—it extends it, deepening my visual language both emotionally and cognitively.
In AI Roadtrip, I reinterpret my past photographic journeys through AI, training models and combining hybrid techniques to create a new visual reality. This series transcends conventional road trip imagery, interweaving personal emotion with AI’s transformative power. Each frame is an emotional narrative—capturing not just a moment, but the intangible essence of my experience.
Presented under the exhibition title Metamorphosis, my work invites viewers to reconsider the relationship between human perception and artificial imagination. By blending analogue textures with machine-generated visions, I challenge traditional authorship and explore the fluid boundaries between memory and transformation.”
