Saad is an Active Conceptual Artist who is an Academic as well holding a doctorate degree, began practicing the art of caricature in local newspapers in 1990s, his works are characterized by research in the heritage and depend on memory of Childhood and Nostalgic moments, Part of his recent Exhibition participations are : Venice Biennale 2022 represented by 396 Gallery.
Saudi Art Council Exhibition 2021. Misk Art Week Exhibition 2020. Dar Al Uloom University Exhibition 2020. Also was Granted by Misk Art Grant 2020.

Saad Al-Howede was born in 1975 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He holds a doctorate degree (PhD) in Art Philosophy, he began practicing the art of caricature in local newspapers since 1990 until 2013, Saad Al howede has his first Groupe exhibition at the age of 16.
This remarkable arrival brought him to the forefront of the art scene.
In July (2022) "Laureate of the international art residency, Alma Mater by Alma, in Avignon France."
His studio practice focuses on the heritage that depends on memory and recording moments..
He works primarily with installation, in his practice, Saad seeks to bring the heritage and depend on the memory as a trace, the role of the archive, revisionist memory and post-memory, as well as the absence of memory in oblivion in his work.

“I always ask myself “Can we live without a memory?”
Art is the best way for me to convey my imagination, my viewpoints, the locations I live, and my realistic and unrealistic thoughts, and it can be summed up in the statement “Art is a form of communication that the artist strives to produce using many media, to transmit it to the audience.”
The core of my studio practice constitutes a visual story to observe the viewer’s astonishment and the reflection of this astonishment on my personality
I usually get inspiration from people and their heritage, from other cultures and how similar and intersecting they are. I normally explore and read about the concept before it develops, and then my journey in artistic work begins by crystallizing these thoughts, processing them, and selecting the greatest visual processors.
For me, art is a concept that evolves with me on a daily basis, a pleasant emotional space, and a spiritual link between myself and the artwork.
